The Facts:
All eyes were on Ponder during pregame warmups in Green Bay, but they didn’t get much of a look. Multiple reporters at the game reported that Ponder made a very brief appearance when the Vikings got loose on Saturday afternoon. Ponder is reportedly dealing with elbow bursitis and reports throughout the day have increasingly pointed to Joe Webb getting the start against the Packers.

Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com writes that Ponder threw 10-15 passes, none of which traveled more than 15 yards. Ponder had a “lengthy discussion” with offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave and trainer Eric Sugarman before leaving the field. Musgrave was then spotted talking to General Manager Rick Spielman. ...
