The Facts:
The Vikings have announced that Ponder is out for tonight's game.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Joe Webb will start at quarterback when the Vikings take on the Packers in tonight's Wildcard playoff game. Ponder has been bothered by a sore throwing elbow all week. While the team claims the elbow is bruised, 1500ESPN.com's Tom Pelissero reports the issue is bursitis. ... Whatever the case, the athletic Webb (a 220-pounder with 4.4. speed in the 40) will pose an entirely different set of challenges for the Packers than Ponder would have. In fact, one could argue that Webb's mobility alone makes him very hard to defend. There are, of course, reasons Ponder is the starter and Webb isn't; decision-making is one of them. For the record, with Ponder inactive, McLeod Bethel-Thompson will be Webb's backup.
