The Bears have requested and are expected to receive permission to speak to Seattle Seahawks OC Darrell Bevell, according to a league source.

Bevell has been a hot coordinator this year because of his work with Russell Wilson. ... In addition to Bevell, the Bears are interested in a number of offensive-minded coaches as possible replacements for Lovie Smith. The list includes Houston Texans offensive coordinator Rick Dennison, New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael, Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan and Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, among others.
