The chase for Kelly looked like a two-team derby between the Eagles and Browns, but apparently that wasn't the case. As we noted in a previous item, reports began circulating earlier today indicating that Oregon booster and Nike co-founder Phil Knight was making a strong push to keep Kelly with the Ducks, according to a source with knowledge of the process. As NFL.com noted, Kelly's whirlwind interview sessions with Cleveland and Philadelphia over the past 48 hours made it clear one of those teams would emerge disappointed. Now it looks like both have missed out on their top candidate.
