David Akers and challenger Billy Cundiff are scheduled to continue their kicking competition Monday at Candlestick Park, HC Jim Harbaugh said. The 49ers play the Green Bay Packers on Saturday in an NFC divisional-round playoff at Candlestick Park, and the team has yet to decide which kicker will handle the chores. Harbaugh said no date has been set when the 49ers plan to make a decision. "We have a leader in the clubhouse and we'll see how that goes today and tomorrow," Harbaugh said. "It's good competition and we're working through it."

Akers, who made just 29 of 42 field-goal attempts in the regular season, is in competition against Cundiff, whom the 49ers signed last week to compete for the job. Harbaugh said the "leader in the clubhouse" is based on the two practices last week. ...
