Among the ever-increasing names of candidates scheduled to interview for the head coaching job of the Chicago Bears is a very prominent name from their franchise’s history books. According to Dan Pompei of the Chicago Tribune, the Bears are expected to interview Bears Hall of Fame LB Mike Singletary.

Per the report, the decision to interview Singletary could have come at the suggestion of ownership. Singletary is currently serving as linebackers coach and special assistant to Vikings head coach Leslie Frasier. Singletary previously compiled an 18-22 record over parts of three seasons as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. Per Pompei, the Bears are also scheduled to interview Vikings special teams coach Mike Priefer. ...
