Smith spent nine years in Chicago, losing his job after the Vikings beat the Packers and slammed the door to the postseason party on the Bears. Like former Eagles coach Andy Reid, Smith has taken a team to the Super Bowl. Other candidates for the job include Falcons defensive coordinator Mike Nolan, Falcons special-teams coordinator Keith Armstrong, Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, and Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden.
