According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, Griffin expected to undergo surgery this week on torn LCL. At that time doctors will determine if any damage has been done to ACL.

previously noted, Griffin underwent what appeared to be a rather extensive exam at the Florida offices of Dr. James Andrews and news of the surgery comes as no real surprise. It seems there's some confusion as to whether ACL damage that appears on Griffin's MRI is old or new. Given that, it was reported that
