Authorities Really Want To Talk To Kenny Britt
(1/15 12:6 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on a previous item. ... Despite a statement from Britt’s anonymous spokesman (seriously) that he’s cooperating with police after Britt dropped off a friend at the hospital who had been stabbed, police now say Britt’s isn’t. Per Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean, a police captain in Bayonne said Monday of Britt, “At this point he is still not cooperating with police. So whatever statement he puts out is false.”  Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The authorities have made a general plea for assistance in finding Britt. “We are asking anyone who has info of his whereabouts to contact us & that includes the owner of the Titans,” the police captain said. Britt's ability to put himself in the wrong place at the worst times is something we've become accustomed to. This is Britt's ninth known incident involving the police since he entered the NFL in 2009. He has made two separate visits to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to discuss his off-the-field behavior. He was suspended for the season opener for violating the league's personal conduct policy following an arrest on suspicion of DUI in July. An NFL spokesman told The Tennessean on Monday they will look into Britt's latest incident. With the police putting out APBs via Twitter, it sounds like they might want to expedite this one. ... Stay tuned.
