Knowshon Moreno Won't Need Surgery On Injured Knee
(1/17 9:54 PT)

The Facts:
Moreno's injury from the Saturday playoff loss to the Baltimore Ravens is not considered serious. Surgery will not be required and he is expected to be fine moving forward.  Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Moreno spent eight weeks on the inactive list after a Week 2 fumble at Atlanta, only to emerge as a legitimate weapon both for the Broncos and Fantasy owners over the last six weeks of the season. With Willis McGahee sidelined by a knee injury, Moreno moved into the starting lineup in Week 11 and wound up running for 510 yards and three scores. According to MaxDenver.com's Andrew Mason, the performance was enough to earn Moreno a role in what's all but certain to be a three-man committee in Denver next season, one in which he'll join McGahee (assuming he's healthy) and Ronnie Hillman to provide the Broncos a formidable crew.
