The Facts:
The Texans released QB Tony Banks and RB Tony Hollings on Tuesday. A 10-year veteran, Banks appeared in just three games while backing up David Carr last season, throwing for 173 yards with two interceptions and one touchdown. Hollings is a three-year veteran who played in just two games last season with no carries. He has 149 career yards.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The move leaves the Texans with Carr and seldom-used Dave Ragone as the only quarterbacks on the roster. Releasing a running back and a quarterback doesn't exactly shed light on the Texans' plans for the No. 1 pick in April's draft. The Texans could choose QB Vince Young or RB Reggie Bush -- or they could trade the pick.
