The Facts:
GM Mark Dominik hopes to meet this week was with the agent for Clark, who Dominik would like to have back for at least another year, as long as Clark is interested in returning. "I need to talk to his agent and figure out where they're at first because that's where it all starts,' Dominik said. "Two people have to come together to make a deal happen as opposed to one side is happy and the other isn't so sure what it wants to do yet. But I was certainly happy with the way Dallas Clark played this year. He played 16 solid games and he stayed healthy, which is what a lot of people's concerns were.'

But as the Times noted, Clark often sounded uncertain about his future in the game, much less in Tampa, near the end of the season. "Coach (Greg) Schiano talked to him at the end of the season, and I didn't get that sense from him,' Dominik said. "I don't think Dallas Clark is contemplating retirement yet. ..." Stay tuned.
