Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora, the move is pending Williams' reinstatement to the league from his Bountygate suspension. Williams and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell are expected to meet early next week. Williams, who was deemed a central figure in the bounty program, was able to pursue coaching vacancies in the league so clearly Goodell was aware circumstances could lead to this. As for the return to Tennessee -- he was a longtime coordinator for the Titans under Jeff Fisher -- that also makes sense given team's defensive woes last season. In fact, Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio contends that HC Mike Munchak has no choice. The team must improve in 2013 or Munchak won’t have a job come 2014. So that means taking the risk of bringing on board a defensive mind, even if that defensive mind is widely perceived by players to be a snitch.
