The Facts:
Moss emerged from retirement to play for the 49ers this season. But if he manages to hoist the Lombardi Trophy, he won’t be walking off into the sunset with it like Michael Strahan or Jerome Bettis or John Elway. Per a source with knowledge of Moss’s thinking, the future Hall of Famer plans to play at least one more year.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PFT's Mike Florio notes, absent a contract extension, Moss will become a free agent in March. His first retirement came two years ago, after he received not much interest on the open market. After a year away from the game, he decided to return -- and he hasn’t complained once despite being a role player at best. We'll have to wait and see if Moss ends his career with the Niners or moves on, so stay tuned.
