D-Jax Wants Michael Vick To Remain As Eagles QB

The Facts:
DeSean Jackson says the coaching change the Eagles made should result in at least one certainty for next season after struggling to a 4-12 finish in 2012. Retaining the services of Vick. "For sure I can see it. Now that Chip Kelly is our offensive coordinator, I mean our head coach, Michael Vick I think it's a no-brainer to keep him here," Jackson said. "It fits his playing style and what he's done perfect." Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
In December, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Vick was not willing to work with the Eagles toward restructuring his contract, which calls for him to make $15.5 million in base salary next season. If the Eagles release Vick by Feb. 6, they won't have to pay him the guaranteed $3 million in his deal, the report said. Vick, 32, had 2,362 passing yards, 12 touchdowns and 10 interceptions this season, his fourth with the Eagles. The Eagles hired Kelly after firing Andy Reid, who quickly landed the head coaching job with the Kansas City Chiefs after 14 seasons in Philadelphia. ... Stay tuned.
