As noted in
a previous item, Bradshaw, who has played his NFL career on a pair of troublesome feet, started his offseason with another surgery. The Giants running back said he had the screw in his right foot replaced with a larger one 10 days ago. The recovery timetable is 10 weeks, he said. He is a Tom Coughlin favorite but sounded somewhat uncertain about his Giants future while players cleaned out their lockers a few weeks ago, saying "you never know who won't be back last year, including me." Bradshaw had two more years left on his contract, and was due $3.75 million in 2013. First-round pick David Wilson
emerged last season, and Andre Brown was also a very productive back before breaking his fibula in November. Brown is a free agent. ... Now we'll have to see how a veteran like Bradshaw, a player with a solid record of production but also a history of chronic foot trouble, fares as a free agent.
