Looking to clear room under the salary cap, the Bills on Wednesday released Campbell. DT Sam Adams, S Lawyer Milloy were also released. Campbell, 30, just completed his third season with the Bills. The seven-year veteran had 19 catches for 139 yards in 14 games last season.

The move leaves Buffalo with Tim Euhus, Ryan Neufeld and Kevin Everett as their top TEs. Some observers believe Everett, a third-round pick out of Miami who lost his entire rookie season to a torn ACL, could provide a significant upgrade this fall. He has great speed and was able to add a lot of bulk to his frame.
