Chris Johnson Still Isn't Going To Get Released... Still. Again.
(2/7 3:5 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... Johnson will return to the Tennessee Titans under his current contract in 2013, a league source told ESPN. Tennessee decided to keep Johnson after the star running back had a conversation Thursday with HC Mike Munchak. Johnson tweeted: "Had a great 30min convo with coach munchak and we both look forward to making that next step. ..." Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
At this point -- given the daily reporting that continues to maintain Johnson will remain a Titan, anything less than that will be a huge surprise. ... The Titans had to make a decision on Johnson by Saturday, when $9 million of his $10 million salary for 2013 would have been guaranteed if he was on their roster. But Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio, citing a source with knowledge of the exchange, there was no mention of Johnson’s contract and the conversation is being interpreted as a clear sign that the Titans will keep him. A three-time Pro Bowler, Johnson rushed for 1,243 yards and six touchdowns this past season. He became just the eighth player in NFL history to run for at least 1,000 yards in each of his first five seasons, joining Barry Sanders, Curtis Martin, Eric Dickerson, Tony Dorsett, Corey Dillon, Eddie George and LaDainian Tomlinson.
