Bills Will Let WR Donald Jones Move On
(2/7 11:32 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on a previous item. ... Jones is set to become a restricted free agent this offseason, but he will not be tendered by the Bills and will not be re-signed by Buffalo. That according to Bills GM Buddy Nix “We have made the decision not to re-sign Donald,” said Nix. “We’re going in a different direction and this move today gives Donald the opportunity to catch on with another team early on in the process.” Reported by BuffaloBills.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jones has battled injuries and an undisclosed medical condition that he’s had since college and cropped up again late in 2012 (he missed the final three games last year). The receiver saw specialists in New York at the end of the year and did have a new course of treatment for his condition moving forward. Jones however, will have to latch on with another club. That should be easier coming off his best season in a Bills uniform. Jones finished the year with 41 receptions for 443 yards with 4 touchdowns in 2012. Overall in his three seasons with the Bills, Jones has 82 catches for 887 yards and 6 TDs.
