The Facts:
Andy Reid is taking another look at Gilyard. The receiver, who spent most of last year playing (or, more accurately, riding the bench) for Reid in Philadelphia, has landed in Kansas City: The NFL’s transactions wire listed the Chiefs signing Gilyard as a move that became official today.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PFT's Michael David Smith notes, Gilyard is a talented athlete who started his college career as a cornerback and was later chosen to All-American teams at both wide receiver and kickoff returner, but he’s never been able to put it all together in the NFL. He was a 2010 fourth-round pick of the Rams but caught just six passes in St. Louis before he was cut, then he barely played in his time with the Eagles and caught only two passes after landing with the Jets. Still, Gilyard must have shown enough in practice in Philadelphia that Reid wants to see what he can do in Kansas City.
