The Facts:
The Indianapolis Colts will part ways with outside linebacker Dwight Freeney and Collie. Neither move was unexpected. Both players were unrestricted free agents. The Star’s Bob Kravitz was the first to report the news.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Freeney will be 33 next week and he is coming off the least productive of his 11 NFL seasons, all with the Colts. He had only 12 tackles and five sacks. Collie’s concussion history and a ruptured patellar tendon injury that ended his 2012 season made him expendable. Collie, 27, caught 173 passes for 1,845 yards and 16 touchdowns in his four seasons, but missed 15 games last season and six in 2010. Freeney’s and Collie’s contracts were due to expire March 12.
