Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
When the Eagles announced they’d reached agreement with Dixon on a one-year deal, their release said he’d be competing with Trent Edwards for a backup role. Dixon also said that he feels a knee injury has limited his development and hopes to kickstart it playing for Kelly, who he believes can be a great success in the NFL. “If everybody buys into what Chip Kelly is selling, the sky’s the limit,” Dixon said. ... One could argue that Dixon's primary purpose -- given his familiarity with Kelly -- would be to help school the rest of the team on the offense. He obviously thinks that's not the case.
