The Facts:
Following up on the
ongoing story. ... Griffin sent out a tweet Tuesday that featured a link to a new commercial he filmed for Adidas. The commercial features exploding scoreboards and football fields — no exploding knees, though — before ending with the tagline “All In for Week 1.” Griffin’s tweet features the same phrase, which naturally garnered some interest from those following his rehab from the knee injury suffered in the team’s playoff loss to the Seahawks.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Some of that interest was from people concerned that Griffin might be pushing too hard to get back for the season opener, which led Griffin back to Twitter a short time later to clarify his position. “Feel like I need to say this..Although my goal is to start Week 1, that doesn’t mean I will compromise my career to do so,” Griffin wrote. ... As PFT's Josh Alper suggests, that is clearly the wisest course of action. Alper further noted "There’s a long way to go before we’ll have any idea about Griffin’s availability for Week 1, Week 2 or anything else. ..." So we should all keep our expectations in check.
