The Facts:
The Ravens have begun negotiations with Taylor, agent Ken Sarnoff confirmed Tuesday. Taylor, the team's second-leading rusher, is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent tomorrow, along with fellow RB Jamal Lewis. "We have had preliminary discussions with the Ravens and they have expressed interest in keeping Chester," Sarnoff wrote in an e-mail.

Sarnoff went on to suggest many teams will be interested in his client, but he was quick to add that the Ravens will be afforded every opportunity to re-sign Chester and keep him off of the free-agent market.
