Burleson is coming off a broken leg that ended his season in October, but the Lions are shorthanded at the position after cutting Young and with last year’s second-round pick, Ryan Broyles, coming off a torn ACL. One of the Lions’ most vocal leaders, Burleson has 155 catches in 36 games since signing with the Lions as a free agent in 2010. He's signed through 2014.
