The Facts:
Although the Broncos reportedly are in the market for a physical tailback, HC John Fox expects Hillman to be "much improved" and ready to "play more extended time" in 2013. Fox was pleased with Hillman's performance versus the Baltimore Ravens and expects the change-of-pace back to spend the offseason "developing a pro body."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
This jibes with recent reporting by Denver Post staff writer Jeff Legwold, who advised readers this week that the Broncos have big plans for Hillman because he's a young player who consistently showed explosiveness in his career at San Diego State. However, he also arrived in the NFL after just two years of college football. Overall, Hillman has enormous big-play potential, but he needs another offseason in an NFL strength program. Overall, Hillman played 18 percent of the team's offensive snaps this past season. That total should go up if he can show more decisiveness in his running in the team's offseason work and he can continue to put in the time in pass protection. If so, Hillman's potential as a receiver is enormous and there is no reason to think he can't carve out far more impact in the 2013 season.
