The Facts:
Kasay said Thursday he has no plans to retire, labeling internet speculation about his future "absolutely nothing but gossip." An ESPN.com online article recently suggested Kasay, 36 and a 15-year NFL veteran, might be ready to retire.

"I've never said anything like that," Kasay told the Observer. "It hasn't crossed my mind. I have a great job. I really like what I do. I can't do it the rest of my life, so why not enjoy it?" Kasay, the last of the original Panthers, said he has worked out every day except three since the season ended.
