The Facts:
Jennings was adamant in a December appearance on "NFL AM" that a return to Green Bay under the frachise-tag designation would be unwelcome. Packers GM Ted Thompson might put that sentiment to the test. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport tweeted the Packers are now considering the franchise tag for Jennings, according to a source with knowledge of their plans.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As NFL.com's Chris Wesseling pointed out, expectations for Jennings' market value are all over the map. Twin Cities ESPN heard at the NFL Scouting Combine Saturday that Jennings is seeking an unrealistic $14 million per season. While there has been speculation that Jennings could return to the Packers at a reduced rate if his market bottoms out, agent Eugene Parker is under the impression that the receiver will be in high demand. Jennings would cost the Packers $10.4 million under the franchise tag. As Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio suggested, with Jennings turning 30 later this year and missing half of the 2012 regular season, spending that much money
doesn't make much sense, given the way the Packers do business. Moreover, the Packers have three receivers under contract who, according to one of them, each can generate
more than 1,000 yards receiving in 2013.
