Ramses Barden Ready To Move On
(3/1 12:4 PT)

The Facts:
Barden tantalized Giants fans for four years with his size, reach, and sometimes-spectacular training camp catches. But he never got much of an opportunity in actual games. That’s a big reason why Barden believes “it’s probably best” if next year he’s playing someplace else. Reported by the New York Daily News

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The 6-6 receiver that the Giants took a chance on when they drafted him out of Cal Poly in the third round in 2009, said he’s ready to move on in an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio Thursday. Speaking on The SiriusXM Blitz, Barden – who’ll be an unrestricted free agent on March 12 -- said he has “no ill feelings” about the opportunities he never got with the Giants. He just believes he’ll find more opportunities someplace else. That's not hard to imagine. He didn't get many in New York. Barden had just 29 catches in his four-year career, including a career-high 14 (for 220 yards) this past season.
