Earlier Saturday, PFT’s Mike Florio, citing a league source, reported the 49ers had indicated they weren’t going to bring back Moss in 2013. On Saturday night, the veteran wide receiver took to Twitter and wished the Niners well.“Wished we could’ve finished the job!!” wrote Moss, who has a verified Twitter account. “thanks for the opportunity an good luck in the future 9ers.”

Moss, 36, is slated to be an unrestricted free agent. He caught 28 passes for 434 yards and two touchdowns in 2012 for San Francisco after a year out of the league. There have been reports suggesting Moss isn't ready to call it a career; but it appears if that's the case, Moss will have to find another team.
