Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The veteran receiver was due a $2.425 million roster bonus this month, a price Minnesota had no interest in paying. In 16 games (eight starts), Jenkins finished with 30 catches for 449 yards and touchdowns. He had three catches for 96 yards and a touchdown in Minnesota's playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers. Jenkins, 30, spent his first seven seasons with the Atlanta Falcons before joining the Vikings prior to the 2011 season. According to NFL.com's Dan Hanzus, the Vikings' decision to cut ties with Jenkins provides further evidence that Minnesota will prioritize adding new playmakers around Christian Ponder this spring.
