The Facts:
The Chiefs agreed to terms with Bowe on a five-year contract Monday and effectively kept their other top potential free agent, left tackle Branden Albert, off the market by declaring him a franchise player. The Chiefs also agreed to contract terms with punter Dustin Colquitt, another potential free agent.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Bowe, who the Chiefs made a franchise player last season after both sides couldn’t agree on a long-term contract, has been the Chiefs’ leading receiver for the past four seasons following Tony Gonzalez’s trade to Atlanta. ... As NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal suggested, the regime change in Kansas City ultimately helped keep Bowe in town. New HC Andy Reid and GM John Dorsey made it clear they were fans of Bowe and did not want to lose him. Kansas City boasts a solid group of skill position talent with Bowe, wide receiver Jon Baldwin, running back Jamaal Charles, and Tony Moeaki to pair with incoming QB Alex Smith. Financial terms still are unclear, but it's safe to say Bowe will be one of the highest paid wide receivers in the NFL. Now, Rosenthal added, "Reid will find out the answer to a question that former Chiefs GM Scott Pioli always seemed to wonder about: How will Bowe react to big money?"
