Brandon Stokley Isn't Ready To Retire Yet
(3/7 12:7 PT)

The Facts:
A year ago, Stokley was convinced he was retired. Yet 45 catches, five touchdowns and one reunion with Peyton Manning later, the 36-year-old wide receiver is considering playing one more season. If a team, particularly the Denver Broncos, wants him, that is. "Hopefully I'll be back, it was a fun year," Stokley told USA TODAY Sports. "I would like to make another run at it."  Reported by USA Today

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Broncos are likely in the market for a receiver in free agency, looking for pieces to complement Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker. Stokley provided a valuable veteran presence in 2012 as Denver players adjusted to Manning, and in return provided Manning with somewhat of a security blanket, particularly on third downs. As USA Today's Lindsay Jones notes, Stokley signed a one-year deal with the Broncos last April and wound up playing in 16 games — 15 in the regular season and one in the playoffs — and finished the season feeling as healthy as he ever has in his career. Stokley told Jones that he believes his agent and the Broncos have "talked some," but he didn't anticipate signing a new deal early in free agency. Stokley seems eager to return to the Broncos but Jones reports the veteran would listen if another team were to call.
