The Facts:
The Buccaneers considered using the first-round RFA tender on Blount, but they apparently were able to secure him for far less. As noted by former agent Joel Corry on Twitter, Blount has re-signed with the Bucs for one year.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to PFT's Darin Gantt, Blount will make $1.75 million, including $1.25 million in base salary, $350,000 in reporting bonus and a $150,000 workout bonus. Gantt further noted that slots in between the low RFA tender of $1.3 million and the second-round tender of $2.0 million. The first-round tender of $2.8 million would have certainly scared everyone off, but it would have also been too much to pay to a second-option back, who quickly fell behind Doug Martin last year.
