Campbell will probably hit the free-agent market, and it's doubtful he will return to the Cowboys. Campbell's agent, Leonard Roth, said there is "less than a 5 percent chance" his client will re-sign with Dallas. "I am surprised they didn't make any attempt to sign him," Roth said.

Campbell, 30, last season played with a sports hernia he suffered in the third game. Used primarily as a blocker, he had three catches for 24 yards. If Campbell leaves, the Cowboys might select a tight end from a draft class that is loaded at that position.
