Not Looking Good For Anquan Boldin To Remain In Baltimore
(3/11 2:13 PT)

The Facts:
When it comes to the contract standoff between the Ravens and Boldin, no news is bad news. The two sides have not yet worked out a deal that would replace Boldin’s $6 million base salary for 2012. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, it’s “not looking promising.” Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
In case you haven't been following along, Boldin previously had promised to retire if he’s cut by the Ravens. More recently, it has become clear that Boldin will indeed play elsewhere, if the Ravens cut him loose. According to various reports, that nearly happened last Friday. And as PFT's Mike Florio suggests, it could still happen today or tomorrow before 4:00 p.m. ET, when the new league year begins.
