The Facts:
Stephens-Howling apparently will be in a different uniform next year. The Cardinals made Stephens-Howling an offer last week, but it wasn’t close to what Stephens-Howling was seeking. So Stephens-Howling will enter free agency today, and it appears the Cardinals will go in a different direction at running back.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Stephens-Howling could be attractive to other teams because of his versatility. He is a dangerous third-down back, a competent kick returner and one of the best special teams cover men in the NFL. Stephens-Howling is also small (5-7, 185) and his size will continue to be a factor as he seeks another employer. Injuries to Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams forced Stephens-Howling into the role of primary running back. He’s not built for that and potential suitors will be looking to pay accordingly.
