According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Chiefs reached agreement in principle on three-year deal with former Saints backup Daniel, who played at Missouri.
Daniel, a former undrafted free agent, spent the last three seasons serving as Drew Brees' backup in New Orleans. His former teammates in New Orleans seemed happy for Daniel.
