Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Phillips spent the first three years of his career with the Dallas Cowboys. He never missed a game in those three years, playing in 16 games each season, a total of 48 straight. He has a total of 30 career receptions for 218 yards and two touchdowns. His best receiving season was 2011 when he had 15 catches for 101 yards and a touchdown. Last season he had eight catches for 55 yards and a touchdown. Phillips also played in both of the Cowboys playoff games in 2009, catching one pass for one yard and a touchdown. The Cowboys did not make the playoffs in either of the past two seasons. With the Chargers, he will likely back up Antonio Gates and play in multiple tight end sets. He might also play on special teams.
