Although previous reporting indicated the Dolphins were making a push to land Cook, the althletic tight end winds up in St. Louis. It's a nice addition. Remember; the 6-5, 246-pound Cook offers the Rams a very fast (4.49 speed) weapon that commands the attention of defenses. The former third-round pick had his breakout season in 2011, catching 49 catches for 759 yards and three touchdowns. Cook's numbers fell off to 44 receptions for 523 yards in 2012, but he did score four touchdowns during his 485 snaps. As long as you're looking for a player whose more a receiver than a blocker, Cook is a major upgrade in St. Louis, where Lance Kendricks has failed to emerge as a consistent downfield threat.
