Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Given that the Raiders opened the day $8 million under the salary cap, players with large contracts -- like Heyward-Bey's ($7.7 million salary, $10.6 million cap number) -- and diminishing production -- Heyward-Bey's numbers drop from 64 catches to 41 and yardage from 975 to 606 -- were likely to be dealt with as the team needed more space to sign players. They did and he was. Carson Palmer (with a $13 million salary and $15 million cap number) is another player to watch.
