Report: Titans Shopping Nate Washington
(3/13 12:5 PT)

The Facts:
Sources told NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah on Tuesday night that the Titans will look to trade Washington first. Due $4.2 million this season, Washington is unlikely to draw serious interest on the block. Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While the 29-year-old Washington is a fine complementary player, the Titans' front office has deemed him no longer worthy of a bloated paycheck. And despite the fact he led the team in receiving yards each of the past two seasons, the Titans are looking to get more dynamic at receiver, with multiple reports linking them to free-agent Danny Amendola as a safety blanket for quarterback Jake Locker. Other teams reported to be interested in Amendola include the Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots. Should Washington hit the open market, NFL.com's Chris Wesseling believes he would fit in the tier alongside Brandon Gibson and below Greg Jennings, Wes Welker and Amendola.
