This news comes in wake of previous reporting earlier this morning suggesting the Patriots low-balled Welker making it all but certain the veteran wideout would move on. Indeed, there has been reporting suggesting that Welker is looking to "stick it" to the Patriots. Hard to imagine a better way to do that than by joining a contending team like the Broncos -- a team with a quarterback in Peyton Manning who knows how to take advantage of an effective slot man. ...
