The Facts:
When former OC Rob Chudzinski left to become the Browns' coach in January, most figured a Charlotte-to-Cleveland pipeline would carry a couple of Carolina offensive players to Ohio.

It looks like the player most thought would be going – Panthers backup QB Derek Anderson – is staying. But one of his Carolina teammates – No. 2 tight end Gary Barnidge – appears to be Cleveland-bound.
According to league sources, Anderson will not be returning to Cleveland, where he spent his first four NFL seasons. Anderson, a free agent, likely will remain in Charlotte as Cam Newton's backup, sources said. Meanwhile, Barnidge has reportedly agreed to terms in Cleveland, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Barnidge is a pass-catching tight end whose opportunities were limited in Charlotte because of Greg Olsen's productivity. Barnidge, 27, caught six passes for 78 yards and his first career touchdown last year after missing the entire 2011 season with a broken ankle.
