NFL Says Labor Talks Could Resume Sunday

The Facts:
Talks between the NFL and its union broke off with no progress, although NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the sides agreed to meet again March 5. "No progress has been made, but we expect more discussions to take place before Sunday night," Aiello said.  Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Gene Upshaw, the NFLPA's executive director, flew home to Washington and said he was unaware of any meeting scheduled for Sunday. He did, however, express a willingness to return to New York if necessary. ... The latest stalemate increased the possibility that many high-priced free agents would come on the market as teams struggled to get under the salary cap by tomorrow at 6 p.m. ET. ... Stay tuned.
