Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Washington has been one of the NFL’s best kickoff return men for years. He averaged 29.0 yards on kick returns last season, second in the NFL behind the Ravens’ Jacoby Jones. Washington has eight kick-return touchdowns in his eight-year career. And Washington might have some usefulness as a third-down running back with his capable hands and elusiveness -- something that might be even more necessary if Washington's arrival signifies the end of Danny Woodhead's run in New England. The Buccaneers were also interested in Washington.
