The Facts:
HC Andy Reid said Moeaki had arthroscopic knee surgery after the season but will be ready to go when offseason practice begins in May.

The Chiefs this week
signed a second tight end, Miami’s Anthony Fasano, as a free agent. Reid said the Chiefs have plans to use many two-tight end formations. “It’s important that (Moeaki) gets himself healthy and he works on the rehab part of that,” Reid said. “The combination of those two is something we’re looking at as a positive.” Moeaki had 33 catches and one TD last season. The other TEs on the roster combined for 11 catches, 134 yards and one score. Look for the position to be more prominent with Reid at the helm. But Moeaki's injury history will be an ongoing concern for the Chiefs and Fantasy owners.
