The Facts:
Scott was cleared Monday by orthopedic surgeon Robert Scheinberg to begin cutting and doing "explosive weight training" on his surgically repaired knee, Scott's agent, Scott Casterline, told USA TODAY Sports.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Scott tore his ACL in Week 2 last season for the Cincinnati Bengals. Casterline said Scheinberg said Scott is right on track in his recovery. According to Casterline, the Lions would've been a suitor in the first wave of free agency if they hadn't landed Reggie Bush. Casterline said other teams told him they'd be interested in his client in the second wave of free agency, which will pick up later this week after the league meetings. ... If healthy, Scott could provide good value for a team as a bargain free agent. He's run for 4.4 yards per carry over his four-year career with the Bengals, who are interested in bringing him back, Casterline said.
