The Titans wasted no time in landing a new backup for Jake Locker after releasing Matt Hasselbeck earlier in the day. Despite his shortcomings as the starter in Buffalo, Fitzpatrick's release by the Bills made him the top backup QB on the free agent market (at least until Hasselbeck's release). The Bengals were also interested in Fitzpatrick but the Titans have landed him.
