The Facts:
Following up on the
ongoing story. ... The Colts have officially added Hasselbeck as their backup QB.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As previously noted, Hasselbeck played in eight games for the Titans last season, starting five times when Locker was injured. The Titans were 2-3 under Hasselbeck. Overall, he completed 62.4% of his passes for 1,367 yards, seven touchdowns and five interceptions. In 2011, he passed for 3,571 yards, 18 touchdowns and 14 interceptions for the Titans, who went 9-7. Hasselbeck has an 80-72 record as a starter for his career and went to three Pro Bowls as a member of the Seattle Seahawks, whom he led to Super Bowl XL following the 2005 season. ... As PFT's Michael David Smith suggests, from a football standpoint it’s a coup for the Colts. Hasselbeck’s still enough of a quarterback to fill in for a few weeks if Andrew Luck rolls an ankle but he’s clearly OK with being a backup at this stage in his career.
